I had to retreat to our garage apartment which had no heat and old man winter was kicking up a storm. After rigorously testing the formula in our home every Saturday on our collection of antiques for over a year combined with a focus group of knowledgeable customers, in 1987 we introduced Finisher's Formula ® beeswax furniture polish.
I was making polish two bottles at a time gradually increasing to eight bottles using the heat spin method of mixing.
On Christmas Eve of 2014,I was sitting in my chair catching up my emails. and I received an email from Crate&Barrel, a well respected retail outlet which read in part "Dear Mr. Ruelle, we would like to offer your polish in our worldwidee market of stores...Our first initial order will be 1000 bottles"
And the rest is the living history, we now offer over a dozen natural products.
